Summary: Our day with Nina to tour the Grand Canyon was amazing! Her knowledge of the Canyon, its history from any perspective - geological, exploration, hiking and more - is extensive. Her intelligence, enthusiasm and respect for nature and people will astound you. Plus, Nina gave us suggestions for an entire day on our own from where to eat, hike, and best areas for amazing sunsets! This trip for us has been in the making since 2019. We maintained contact with Chris and could not have asked for a better experience.

Summary: Seeing the Grand Canyon was a bucket list item for my wife and me. We could not have been happier that we booked our tour with Chris at Grand Canyon Journeys. We booked our October trip in April. Chris kept in touch with us the entire time especially as the government shutdown loomed. To say that our 9-hour day with Chris was absolutely perfect is an understatement! He picked us up at our hotel on time. His van was clean and well maintained, and he had water, Gatorade, and snacks available. On the 2-hour ride to the canyon Chris was very informative about Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, and other sites along the way. Chris is very personable, loves his work, and enjoys sharing his knowledge. Once at the canyon, there were plenty of stops to take in the breathtaking views and Chris explained what we were seeing. He also took photos of us and knew exactly where we should stand to get the best shot! Lunch at the lodge was included and again Chris was there to ensure all went well (but he left us alone while we ate). The 2 hour ride back to Sedona was via a different route so we were able to see and learn more about the area. If you are planning a trip to see the Grand Canyon, Grand Canyon Journeys is the company you want to use!
